New findings of marine peracarids (Crustacea: Amphipoda, Isopoda) in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico

Abstract
As a result of the study of material deposited in the collection of the Marine Invertebrate Museum of the University of Miami, new locations are recorded and the distribution of four species of peracarids is expanded. These species are the isopod Syscenus infelix and three species of amphipods belonging to the genus Trischizostoma: T. costai, T. richeri and T. denticulatum. These organisms are marine, deep-sea dwellers, and ectoparasites of fish and sharks. In addition, the new locations in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico where they were found are provided.
